Our Staff
Our professional staff work on a daily basis with your child within the classroom setting:
- Teaching Staff: all are registered with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators
- Physiotherapist (Reg)
- Occupational Therapist (Reg)
- OTA/PTA
- Communicative Disorders Assistant
- Speech and Language Pathologist (TPSLS-West Quadrant)
- Music Therapist
Our Teacher Supervisor, Early Childhood Assistants, Office Administrator, Support and Maintenance personnel, and the Executive Director enhance this highly qualified staffing.
Our facility and staff have won a few awards, including the 2007 Business Excellence Award and the 2008 CityKids Inclusion Award for Outstanding Inclusionary Practices within an Early Childhood Program.
And we are thrilled to let you know that our long-time teacher Denise Squizzato is the recipient of the Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Early Childhood Education, 2011

All four of my children have gone to, or are currently going to Silver Creek. As "community kids", my children have had the unique opportunity to spend their days playing and learning with special needs kids. One of the most valuable things they have come out of this experience with is empathy and the understanding that although some kids have special needs, they are still kids just like them.
