The staff at Silver Creek see the children as a ‘whole child’ i.e. well beyond any special needs that they might have, and see them as individuals with lots of strengths in different ways. For me, I have learned that the more work I can put into helping my child, the more she will be able to achieve her goals, and they can be small goals so we can celebrate success often. You are a very special group of people and you have definitely made a huge positive impact in our lives.

Silver Creek has given my son the tools that are necessary to succeed in school, and in life. Their patience and love have guided my son to develop in ways that words can’t describe. He is a confident individual who thrives on challenges and I thank Silver Creek for that. Actually, I thank all the members of Silver Creek for all they have done. It is truly a great place to be.

The staff at Silver Creek are a very special group of professionals who I find care deeply for the children they work with while at the same time pushing them to excel and surpass expectations often placed on children with disabilities. Thank you, Silver Creek!

The one-on-one attention, the follow through notes that the OT, the Speech and Language therapist or the music teacher, and everyone that’s involved is phenomenal. Silver Creek staff, you possess the healing hands and big hearts for looking after the welfare of our child in the areas we don’t know how.

Thank you Silver Creek Pre-School for welcoming me as an observer to your program. I learned so much about paying attention to every little detail in supporting a child who needs assistance in taking small steps to reach their larger goal. The staff at Silver Creek Pre-School are very special professionals who demonstrate how precious life is to our little children.

Fadhil has become a more confident boy ready to take on the world. He is able to sign and communicate his needs very efficiently. I am no longer worried about how he will do in school because of the great accomplishments that I have seen while he was at Silver Creek. Thank you for giving us courage and strength.

David flourished at Silver Creek and so did I. The staff became my friends and a great emotional support to me. They helped with equipment suggestions, sources of extra funding, and co-ordinating David’s school placement at Sunnyview P.S. Well, David moved on but I stayed. I have been on the Board of Directors since 1998, and President for the past 5 years. Silver Creek is a magical place!

My husband and I are so grateful for the wonderful and exceptional team of teachers, therapists and volunteers at Silver Creek. It is inspirational and beautiful to witness daily the love, passion and dedication that they have for each and every child/student, and their professions. They are the very best!

I am always in awe at the great variety and quality of the activities that your staff bring to the outdoor space. The range of activities and the attention to detail is quite a feat. Amazing really. Thank you for all that you do.

The staff at Silver Creek have definitely exceeded my expectations in every way. They genuinely care about the children and work tirelessly every day for the benefit of the children.
