We are always investing in our children’s educational and therapeutic needs. From programs, equipment, and technology to helping children access the school via transportation, there are many ways you can make a difference.
Silver Creek has been serving children with physical and developmental challenges since 1975 when local parents petitioned the provincial government for funding and support in starting a program to serve the pre-academic and therapeutic needs of their children. The school has grown from seven students in 1975 to more than 60 children being served annually. The one-on-one attention, the follow through notes that the OT, the Speech and Language therapist or the music teacher, and everyone that’s involved is phenomenal. The staff at Silver Creek are wonderful people and amazing at what they do. They are a great resource to have as well; very knowledgeable, willing and able to help us as parents through the complicated process of raising a child with special needs. Thank you Silver Creek

Silver Creek is a wonderful, caring and enriching experience for pre-schoolers. The program met our expectations (which were high!) because we had spoken with other parents whose children previously attend Silver Creek Pre-School. The teachers and staff exceeding our expectations.
Thanks to the amazing support at Silver Creek, my daughter has been thriving in all areas. The team there is approachable, professional and incredibly committed. I am so grateful to be working with such a dedicated group of people who are passionate about helping my daughter achieve success.
My two hearing impaired daughters were placed in classrooms with excellent peer language role models to assist in their language and articulation development. They received individualized programs to meet their needs. Silver Creek prepared them well for mainstream kindergarten. We are forever grateful.

I am always in awe at the great variety and quality of the activities that your staff bring to the outdoor space. The range of activities and the attention to detail is quite a feat. Amazing really. Thank you for all that you do.

Silver Creek offers one-on-one attention to all children that strives to bring out the very best in each child, regardless of what their needs are. By far, one of the best benefits of the program is the staff, who are loving and supportive and who go well beyond expectations on a daily basis.
Silver Creek has given my son the tools that are necessary to succeed in school, and in life. Their patience and love have guided my son to develop in ways that words can’t describe. He is a confident individual who thrives on challenges and I thank Silver Creek for that. Actually, I thank all the members of Silver Creek for all they have done. It is truly a great place to be.
David flourished at Silver Creek and so did I. The staff became my friends and a great emotional support to me. They helped with equipment suggestions, sources of extra funding, and co-ordinating David’s school placement at Sunnyview P.S. Well, David moved on but I stayed. I have been on the Board of Directors since 1998, and President for the past 5 years. Silver Creek is a magical place!
The things I like about Silver Creek: 1. Playing on the computer 2. Playing dress-up with my friends 3. I like when the teachers read books to me 4. I also liked to spend time with Bill. He used to tell me jokes. They were very, very, very, very funny. 5. My favourite activity was listening to music
