We are always investing in our children’s educational and therapeutic needs. From programs, equipment, and technology to helping children access the school via transportation, there are many ways you can make a difference.
Silver Creek has been serving children with physical and developmental challenges since 1975 when local parents petitioned the provincial government for funding and support in starting a program to serve the pre-academic and therapeutic needs of their children. The school has grown from seven students in 1975 to more than 60 children being served annually. Silver Creek offers one-on-one attention to all children that strives to bring out the very best in each child, regardless of what their needs are. By far, one of the best benefits of the program is the staff, who are loving and supportive and who go well beyond expectations on a daily basis.
Silver Creek is a wonderful, caring and enriching experience for pre-schoolers. The program met our expectations (which were high!) because we had spoken with other parents whose children previously attend Silver Creek Pre-School. The teachers and staff exceeding our expectations.
Everyone at Silver Creek has been extremely compassionate, professional, patient and persistent in helping my child with her activities daily. As a result, my child has made significant improvements in all her developmental areas and in particular, her motor skills.
Silver Creek has given my son the tools that are necessary to succeed in school, and in life. Their patience and love have guided my son to develop in ways that words can’t describe. He is a confident individual who thrives on challenges and I thank Silver Creek for that. Actually, I thank all the members of Silver Creek for all they have done. It is truly a great place to be.
My daughter first attended Silver Creek when she was 2 years old and it was the first time I left her in the care of someone outside our family. The teachers and staff at Silver Creek were so empathetic and understanding and made the process less stressful for both my daughter and myself.
Since Xavier has been diagnosed with Sandhoff disease, my family’s lives have been turned upside down. It has been difficult for us to find a place for our family in the community. And then we found Silver Creek, it is like a second home to us. I would love the opportunity to give back to Silver Creek.
The staff at Silver Creek are some of the most gifted teachers that I have met and while showing such love and compassion for all their students, they also have the unique ability to push students out of their comfort zone to help them excel in all areas of development.
Thank you Silver Creek Pre-School for welcoming me as an observer to your program. I learned so much about paying attention to every little detail in supporting a child who needs assistance in taking small steps to reach their larger goal. The staff at Silver Creek Pre-School are very special professionals who demonstrate how precious life is to our little children.

Silver Creek is a place like none other. Silver Creek allowed our confidence in our own abilities and decisions to be celebrated as Marasia’s world opened up in front our eyes. We are forever grateful for the exceptional staff at this very special place who make children (and their families) feel like superstars everyday.
The Townsend-Nunes Family
I cannot thank you enough for the exceptional care and love the Silver Creek Staff has shown my child. It will forever be a wonderful memory in Ella’s life and a great start to her educational career. Thank you.

We need your volunteer help. Looking for a Thursday afternoon volunteer (1:20-3:45pm) to support our Music Therapist as she delivers programming to all classrooms. Essentially you would help her organize, dispense and collect instruments, and generally follow her instruction. It is definitely a joyful program. Please go to our website and complete the Volunteer Application form, and submit online. Thank you for considering this. ... See MoreSee Less
